We started Fashion Week with an amazing event on Friday, March 28th. With keynote speaker Sydney Hope, members got to discuss fashion and social media.

Sydney Hope is a USC Fashion Board Alum with over 35K followers on Instagram (@sydneyhopeee). She is the founder and CEO of Sleek Social Club, a woman-owned social media agency helping clients strategically build their social media accounts.
Hope also founded the Girly Pod Podcast alongside Samantha Menapace, a fellow influencer.
During her keynote, Sydney provided valuable insights into her journey and the key factors for success in the social media industry. She emphasized the importance of confidently pitching yourself and establishing a strong personal brand. Hope shared strategies on how to engage with different age groups, stressing the importance of understanding your audience and tailoring to their interests. One of the biggest challenges Sydney faces is continuously coming up with new and innovative content ideas. To overcome this, she stays inspired by being active on social media herself and maintaining a backlog of content for future use.

There has been so much member involvement throughout Fashion Week, with 50 estimated members at the keynote! Members were able to talk with Hope about her experiences with a career in social media and life after school.
